GMC Rajouri first to receive Bronze Quality Certificate

JAMMU, Apr 26: Health and Medical Education Department achieved another milestone when GMC Rajouri received “Bronze Quality Certification” from the Quality Council of India, thus becoming the first GMC in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir to receive this prestigious award from National Health Authority India and Quality Council of India in appreciation and recognition of the compliance with Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PMJAY) Bronze Quality Standards.
Principal GMC Rajouri, Dr A S Bhatia said this is big achievement of HME Department of UT of J&K at the national level which was made possible by the all support of Government and Secretary Health and Medical Education Dr Syed Abid Rasheed Shah who supported this endeavour throughout. The rigorous certification process spanned over the course of one year, involving meticulous desktop assessment and comprehensive onsite evaluation, the dedication and hard work invested in the quality certification process underscores the commitment of healthcare professionals towards ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
He further said the esteemed recognition, bestowed upon the hospital signifies adherence to stringent quality standards and continuous efforts towards improvement) Mehmood Hassan Bajar, Medical Superintendent said that this recognition is a testament to the unwavering commitment and tireless efforts of the hospital’s staff in upholding the highest standards of care.
The Secretary Health and Medical Education has congratulated the entire team of GMC Rajouri for this milestone achievement and setting new standards of patient care in the region.
