GMC takes note of officers arriving late

SRINAGAR, Sept 28: The Government Medical College (GMC), Srinagar has taken a strong note of officers reaching late to their offices as has come to the fore after the analysis of biometric attendance.
In a circular issued, GMC official said that while examining the biometric attendance of officials arriving in various offices of GMC and its associated hospitals, it has been noticed that maximum are coming late which depicts a lackadaisical approach towards their duties.
“As it has been impressed by the Administrative Dept… that all the employees shall enroll on biometric machines and cumulative attendance report should be generated according to the Biometric attendance system and subsequently forwarded to the administrative department on a routine basis before 10:30 am,” GMC official said.
“As such it is once again impressed upon all the subordinate offices shall mark their attendance (in and out) on daily basis and controlling officers shall also send the cumulated attendance of all the employees falling under their jurisdiction at 10:20 am positively daily so that the compiled information shall be forwarded to the Administrative Dept,” official said.
