SRINAGAR, Apr 9: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has granted accreditation to the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar for the DNB Thoracic Surgery program.
The Principal of GMC Srinagar has congratulated the Head of the CVTS Department, Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Akbar Bhat, along with the faculty and staff of the CVTS Department, Deputy Registrar Academics Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Saleem Ittoo, and the administration of GMC Srinagar on this achievement.
According to GMC, the accreditation marks a significant milestone in the development of medical education and enhances Jammu and Kashmir’s capacity for specialized medical training.
The Principal said, “We are thrilled to receive this accreditation, which is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our faculty and staff.”
