JAMMU, Nov 18: The upgraded Department of Ophthalmology, Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu in collaboration with Jammu Ophthalmological Society (JOS) today organized Diabetic Eye Screening Clinic (DESC) in the Medical College.
A large number of patients were screened in the camp, which was organized under the supervision of HoD Ophthalmology Dr Dinesh Gupta,
Dr Gupta and other doctors of the Department screened the patients for diabetic changes in Medicines and Eye OPD and advised the patients to take precautions and treatment to prevent diabetic retinopathy and seek timely treatment so save their eyesight.
Several other guidelines were also issued to the patients on treatment of eyes in the case of diabetic patients.
