RAJOURI, Nov 27: The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Indian Army’s 16 Corps, Lieutenant General Navin Sachdeva conducted a comprehensive review of security and operational preparedness of forward areas along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district, today.
Accompanied by the GOC of the Cross Swords Division, Lieutenant General Sachdeva toured the Sunderbani sector and interacted with troops deployed in the region.
He commended the soldiers for their unwavering vigilance and commitment to safeguarding the nation.
In a post shared on the official X handle of the White Knight Corps, the 16 Corps stated, “GOC White Knight Corps, along with GOC Cross Swords Division, visited forward areas along the LoC in the Sunderbani sector. The GOC lauded the troops for their steadfast vigilance and dedication to duty, encouraging all ranks to continue demonstrating professionalism in every operation.”
The GOC also reviewed the current security situation in the region and emphasized the importance of maintaining the highest levels of operational readiness to counter any potential challenges.
The visit underscores the Army’s focus on ensuring robust border security and boosting morale among troops stationed in critical sectors.
