GOC Chinar Corps assesses security situation in North Kashmir

SRINAGAR, Sept 9: Ahead of the Assembly elections, Army’s Srinagar based Chinar Corps Commander General Officer Commanding (GOC) Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai today visited the border areas of North Kashmir to assess the security situation and operational preparedness of the troops.
Lt General Ghai visited Vajr Division, Kupwara and Tangdhar sector to assess the security situation and review operation preparedness of troops, Army posted on X.
During the interaction with troops, Lt General Ghai highlighted the importance of situational awareness and strict vigilance to effectively counter emerging challenges.
“Chinar Corps Commander reviewed the security situation in North Kashmir. Chinar Corps Commander visited Vajr Division, Kupwara & Tangdhar Sector today, to assess the security situation and review operational preparedness.
