JAMMU, June 13: The Appointments Committee of Cabinet has approved empanelment of 41 IPS officers including two from erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir cadre (now AGMUT) to hold Inspector General (IG)/IG Equivalent level posts at the Centre.
The officers from erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir cadre empanelled as IGPs include Atul Kumar Goel and Bhim Sen Tuti.
Goel is on deputation to Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India while Tuti is posted as IGP Headquarters in Jammu and Kashmir.
Both are 2004 batch IPS officers.
