Goli appointed OSD to Reddy

NEW DELHI, Oct 4:
Venkat Sathya Kanesh Goli (a private person) has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to G Kishan Reddy, Minister for Coal & Mines, for four years. His appointment specifically pertains to the Ministry of Mines and he will assume the charge of the post at Deputy Secretary level.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal to appoint Goli as OSD on contract basis for period of four years w.e.f the date of assumption of the charge of the post or on co-terminus basis with the Minister or till he ceases to function as OSD to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Goli previously served as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Reddy when he was the Minister for Culture, Tourism and Development of the North Eastern Region. During that tenure, Goli’s appointment was specifically within the Ministry of Tourism.
