JAMMU, Nov 20: Claiming that things are changing fast in Jammu and Kashmir UT with regard to facilities and public service utilities, BJP general secretary, Yudhir Sethi said that Bharatiya Janata Party is committed to provide model governance and extend exemplary development initiatives in UT of J&K so that people will forget the simmering pain and agony which they faced in the last over 70 years’ spell of discrimination and disregard by the dynasty politicians whose lopsided mindset has dented the psyche of residents of this region who till now were longing for mere basic facilities.
He said this while inaugurating a Daily Needs Store at Bishnah in Jammu district today.
Yudhvir Sethi was the chief guest on the occasion. He along with BJP cashier, Prabhat Singh congratulated the owners Surinder Kumar of the Daily Needs Store for opening this facility and anticipated that the venture will flourish and prove useful for the people of this temple city.
He said that BJP’s new roadmap for J&K has lot to offer to people for their welfare as it comprises wider spectrum and unprecedented moves which are slowly unraveling and are coming to fore with phenomenal results with ‘Back to Village’ programme as its best instance. The successful completion of ULB, Panchayat and BDC polls and shifting of powers to these grass roots level constitutional bodies is a dazzling example of BJP’s intention to ensure that people enjoy fruits of democracy in real sense and nobody can misuse the power using imperfections as shield in the existing political set up.
He however, asserted that whatever drawbacks are surfacing in the political system of the country, the Narendra Modi led Central dispensation is looking after them minutely and sooner than later all these will be rectified to make the system foolproof and bountiful for the people.
