JAMMU, July 19: All the goods carriers/ trucks/ mini- trucks etc would observe complete strike on Friday in the J&K state on the call given by All India Motor Transport Congress.
President of All J&K Good Carrier Association, Jammu, Harbans Singh said that in a meeting of the Association held at Transport Nagar (Narwal) here today, the decision to this effect was taken. He said that on July 20, no loading/ unloading of the goods carriers would take place and all the truckers/ goods carriers would observe complete strike in support of their demands as projected by All India body from time to time. He said it will be one day strike and next course of action will be decided shortly. ]
Other members of the Association who attended the meeting included Ajab Singh, Sukhdev Singh, JS Raina, Jeet Singh, Ashok Sharma, Sham Dutta, Charanjit Singh, Naresh Sharma and Vivek Mehta.
