SRINAGAR, June 19: Governor N N Vohra and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today discussed some important matters at Raj Bhawan here this afternoon.
An official spokesman said Mr Vohra and Mr Abdullah discussed matters relating to the programmes of certain important visitors to the State later this month.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi are scheduled to visit Kashmir valley to inaugurate Rail track from Qazigund to Banihal.
They also reviewed the arrangements made for the annual Amarnath pilgrimage commencing from June 28.
They also discussed the overall security scenario in the state.
Earlier during the day, Abdullah chaired Unified Headquarters Meeting. (Agencies)
