Governor, CM pay tributes to Dr Ambedkar

JAMMU, Apr 13: Governor  N. N. Vohra and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today paid tribute to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar on his 122nd birth anniversary.
In a message, the Governor observed that Dr. Ambedkar was an outstanding legal luminary who made a signal contribution to the framing of the country’s Constitution. He recalled Dr. Ambedkar’s contributions towards nation building in the various fields, particularly the uplift of the weaker sections of society.
In his message, the Chief Minister described Dr. Ambedkar architect of Constitution of India, adding that during his entire life he worked for the prosperity of the country and upliftment of downtrodden.
