JAMMU, Apr 2 : Governor, N. N. Vohra inaugurated a paintings exhibition by Dr. R. K. Sharma, a Physician and local artist of Jammu, at Kala Kendra, here this evening.
The Governor and the First Lady went around the exhibition and evinced keen interest in the artistic creations. The Governor observed that Dr. Sharma being a busy physician deserves congratulations for finding time to do creative work and be an artist. They complimented Dr. Sharma for his creative talents and wished him many years of creative artistic work ahead.
Twenty six attractive paintings done in pastels by Dr. Sharma are on display at the Exhibition which will remain open for public viewing for the next three days.
Among those present on the occasion were Navin K. Choudhary, Principal Secretary to the Governor, Savita Bakshi, Additional Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, artists, writers, academicians, art lovers and prominent citizens.
