SRINAGAR, June 28: Governor N N Vohra released a Special Cover at the Raj Bhavan today, brought out by the Department of Posts to commemorate the Shri Amarnathji Yatra. This Special Cover shows the entire Yatra route and information about the significance and location of the Holy Cave Shrine.
P.D. Tshering, Chief Post Master General, J&K; Umang Narula, CEO, SASB; Sudheer Babu, Assisstant Post Master General; Vijay Choudhary, Senior Superintendent of Post Office, Srinagar, were present on the occasion.

Governor appreciated the Department of Posts initiative to highlight the significance of the Yatra through the informative Special Cover and observed that it will be of great interest to collectors of philatelic items.
Meanwhile, CEO, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB), Dheeraj Gupta, called on Governor and informed him about the to-date progress of the Board’s various flagship projects in Katra and the Shrine area.
Governor advised CEO to ensure time-bound completion of all works and ensure satisfactory facilities for all pilgrims.
