JAMMU, Apr 20: N.N. Vohra, Governor, released Veer J. Saraf Shopiani’s book “My India and the World Around” at a function held at the Raj Bhavan today.
Shopiani’s book deals with varied aspects of human life on planet earth and attempts to dispel the subsisting ill founded ideologies and theories which arise from ignorance and a faulty understanding of science, religion and philosophy.
The book also reflects on how the upcoming generations are suffering due to the prevailing turmoils. The author believes that creativity and innovation, can lead to the development of locally available cheap and suitable technologies which would contribute towards employment generation.
The Governor complimented Mr. Saraf for writing on issues of contemporary importance and wished him continuing successes in his literary endeavours.
