JAMMU, Mar 23: N.N. Vohra, Governor, released Shri Amarnathji Yatra Guide Book-2015, published by Tourism Federation of Jammu (TFJ), here at the Raj Bhavan today.
This Guide Book provides information about various procedures and guidelines for facilitation of the intending pilgrims for Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2015, which commences on July 2 and ends on August 29.
The Governor urged members of TFJ and all other stakeholders to coordinate their efforts to support the SASB in organizing a planned and orderly Yatra which ensures the safety and security of the pilgrims. He observed that J&K being an important tourism destination, all the Travel and Tour Operators should develop and enlarge their capacities on the basis of a long term view of the needs and requirements of this sector. He also sought their well considered suggestions for boosting the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine pilgrimage.

Kotwal, President Travel Trade Association, Bhaderwah, Gurmeet Singh, President Adventure Tour Operators Association of Jammu, Nishant Gupta, President, Association of Domestic Tour Operators of Jammu, M.T. Malik, Secretary, Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh Tourism Development Cooperative Ltd., J.P Sharma, Ranjan Kapoor and J.S. Pathania.
