SRINAGAR: Governor N N Vohra today reviewed medical care arrangements for the upcoming annual Amarnath yatra to holy cave shrine in south Kashmir Himalayas at a high level meeting here today.
An official spokesperson here today said that in the meeting held today, Mr Umang Narula, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, (SASB) furnished an item wise report to the Governor about the arrangements made for the medical care of pilgrims for the Amarnath Yatra. “The CEO’s Report was prepared after extensive discussions with the State Government, Army and Central Paramilitary Forces. The CEO also informed that Director Health Services, Kashmir has been asked to ensure that the necessary advanced medical facilities are provided not only at Base Hospitals but also at other Medical Centers on the Yatra routes,” he said.
