JAMMU, Sept 12: The inhabitants of Ward number 44 and the local Councilor have appealed Governor Satya Pal Malik to sanction funds to the Jammu Municipal Corporation for carrying out developmental works of the ward.
The inhabitants of this ward, which has six sectors right from Preet Nagar to Shivaji Chowk and Panama Chowk, Jammu, said that they were facing great difficulties because of no repair of roads, lanes and drainage, which are in bad condition.
Even as the locals repeatedly approached the JMC for the developmental works, no sufficient funds were sanctioned, said Councilor of the Ward, Inder Singh, and urged the Governor for his personal intervention in this regard so that funds may be sanctioned for carrying out works.
