JAMMU, June 12: The School Education Department today announced summer vacations in the Jammu Division schools up to July 15.
According to an order in this regard, all Government schools up to Higher Secondary level, falling in fully Summer Zone of Jammu Division shall observe summer vacation from 15th June to 15th July and those falling under Winter Zone areas of Jammu Division, with effect from 6th July to 15th July.
Despite the summer break, there will be online interaction of teachers with students through Whatsapp group/Google meet etc at least once in a week.
Weekly program/assessments shall be conducted throughout vacation period besides engaging children in cultural activities and for coverage of curriculum/syllabus while all teachers shall remain available for any query/doubt to students through voice call/texts and Whatsapp message, read the order, issued by Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon, Principal Secretary, School Education Department.
