Govt appealed for promotion of Sanskrit language in J&K

JAMMU, Sept 18: Shri Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Sansthan Trust president Mahant Rohit Shastri has appealed the State and Central Government for promotion of Sanskrit language in the State and demanded due share of Sanskrit scholars in employment.
Shastri said Shri Guru Gang Dev Ji Sanskrit Maha Vidyalaya Shiv Kashi Sunderbani which is affiliated by Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (Deemed University) New Delhi is a registered university and affiliated by UGC, Ministry of Human Resources Development Government of India. Said university also got ‘A’ grade by NAAC. The Chairperson of said university is Parkash Javadekar, Union HRD Minister.
It has been observed that students who passed classes under said Shri Guru Gang Dev ji Sanskrit Maha Vidyalaya Sunderbani facing quandary whenever they apply for jobs or request the State Government to be a permanent teacher after completion of their probation period.
Shastri appealed State and Central Government to urgently solve the said matter and declare ReT Sanskrit scholars list.
Mahant Rohit Shastri also appeals to people to make Sanskrit language as a daily mean of communication and to opt Sanskrit language in their studies so that the coming generation will know the good things present in our ancient books like Vedas, Upanishads etc.
