SRINAGAR: The Government today approved the establishment of the maiden Law Commission in the State.
The approval for establishing the commission was granted at a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti here.
The Law Commission will identify laws which have become obsolete over a period of time and need to be repealed, amended or updated, a statement said. (AGENCIES)
