JAMMU, Mar 6: The Jammu and Kashmir government today attached Salam Din, District Mineral Officer (DMO), Udhampur with the administrative department, ceasing all powers vested in him with immediate effect.
The attachment of the officer comes in the wake of directives received from the Personal Section of Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary.
Consequently, Mohammad Imtiaz, DMO, Reasi shall look after the charge of post of DMO, Udhampur, in addition to his own duties till further order.
