JAMMU, Nov 16: In an attempt to provide basic health facilities to people living in remote areas, the Government Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu organized a free medical camp at Chodarewala, a remote village in Jammu district.
The camp has been organised on the instructions of Satish Sharma, Minister for FCS&CA, Transport and YS&S.
During the camp, medical requirements of the people were addressed and free medical advice and medicines were provided to the patients.
The people were provided services in surgery, ENT, gynaecology, medicine and eye with free check-up, diagnosis and medicines.
Appreciating the steps taken by Government Ayurvedic Hospital to provide the basic health facilities in far-flung areas, the villagers demanded that more such medical camps should be organized on regular basis.
