JAMMU, Sept 21: The State Government has asked Director School Education Jammu not to effect any transfer or modification in the Summer Zone henceforth.
According to a formal communiqué, issued by the School Education Department and addressed to the Director School Education Jammu, all the authorities, including CEOs, have been directed for strict and immediate compliance of the instructions in this regard.
“Due to preoccupation of officers with Assembly session held in the month of June 2016, transfers in Summer Zone were permitted beyond the transfer window as one time exception. The matter has been reviewed in view of commencement of academic session and it has been desired to direct all the authorities not to effect any transfer/modification henceforth,” says the communiqué, No.Edu/11/342/2009, dated 20-09-2016.
However, this restriction would not apply to the cases covered under Clause 1 of the Transfer Policy.
