JAMMU, Mar 3: Terming formation of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed led PDP-BJP coalition regime as a historical event in the political history of Jammu and Kashmir, newly appointed Cabinet Minister and two-times MLA from Darhal, Choudhary Zulfikar Ali today said that new Government is committed to bring accountability and transparency in the governance.
He said that agenda of new Government is to provide equal opportunity of socio-economic growth to every individual.
Addressing large number of party workers, Choudhary said that PDP-BJP regime is a Government “with a difference” because this Government has been formed with an aim to provide governance to the people at their door steps and to address basic problems of the masses.
“Eradicating corruption and bringing transparency in the Government is the top priority of the new regime”, he said.
“Mitigating miseries of the common masses is agenda of the new Government and ‘Agenda for Governance’ is constituted by incorporating wishes and aspirations of all regions and sub-regions of the State”, he said and assured the workers that new regime will initiate revolutionary steps to solve day to day problems of the common masses.
Speaking on the occasion, Abdul Haq Khan, who was also appointed as Cabinet Minister, said that workers are strength of the party. “We need support and advice of all workers to solve peoples’ problems”, he said and sought support of party workers to implement Agenda for Alliance in Jammu and Kashmir.
