Govt committed to equitable development : Ruhullah

SRINAGAR, Mat 23: Minister for Science and Technology, Aga Ruhullah today called upon the people to project collective demands of their areas for redressal so that more people get benefitted.
Addressing a public meeting at Pai Mas village in Budgam district, during his tour to his constituency, the Minister said that instead of seeking individual benefits, priority should be to benefit common masses. He said Coalition Government is committed to the equitable development of all the areas of the state.
He announced that northern areas of Budgam will be provided better road connectivity during the current financial year. Responding to the demands of the people, the Minister said that a bridge will be constructed at Farash Gund at a cost of Rs 12 lakh which will provide road connectivity to the people in about 10 villages of the area. He assured the people that the drinking water supply in the area will be augmented shortly. He also assured to setup primary health centre (PHC) in Pai Mas village.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner, Budgam and concerned district officers accompanied the Minister during the tour.
