Govt committed to overall development of State: Khan

REASI, Oct 28: Government is committed for the overall development of the State especially far flung areas.
This was stated by Minister of State for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Aijaz Ahmad Khan while addressing public meetings at Lancha, Budhan and Sidhar.
Asking the people to extend cooperation to the Government for development of far flung and hilly areas, Minister said that people’s participation is imperative for effective implementation of welfare and development programmes initiated by the Central and the State Governments.
Exhorting upon the Sarpanchs and Panchs to perform their duties with utmost care, Khan said Government has given them adequate powers to ensure better development at grass root level.
He also stressed the need to develop trust and maintain coordination among PRIs and administration for speedy development and better delivery of Government schemes on the ground.
On this occasion, Minister also released 35 lakh out of Constituency Development Funds (CDF) for carrying out various development works in Lancha, Budhan and Sidhar.
