RAMNAGAR, Aug 6: While reiterating that he stands for providing transparent, corruption-free and public friendly governance to the public of the area, Ranbir Singh Pathania, MLA Ramnagar today held a Janata Darbar here for redressal of the day to day problems being faced by the people.
Senior officers and District heads of almost all the departments were also present.
Pathania gave a patient hearing to several issues projected by the people and issued directions for on spot redressal of the same. He further said that his focus shall be on maximizing public benefits of various developmental schemes launched by Government.
Earlier, the public present in the meeting projected their various problems and demands regarding unscheduled power-cuts, unavailability of CAPD ration, blockage of roads due to landslides, inadequate supply of drinking water and blockage in irrigation canals.
The MLA directed PWD and PMGSY Departments to clear all the blocked roads/ landslide affected channels to mitigate the sufferings of the public. He also called for early resumption of work on various drinking water supply schemes and creation/augmentation of power stations so that people do not suffer on the account of portable water.
He further directed the Irrigation Department to ensure that the irrigation canals and channels are not blocked for long periods.
Focusing on all-round development of younger generations and students community at large, Pathania announced that he will provide sports material to students of GDC Ramnagar out of his CDF.
