JAMMU, Sept 12: Government today ordered constitution of committees for implementation, monitoring and review of the Mission Vatsalaya and Juvenile Justice Care in Jammu and Kashmir.
These include UT Level Monitoring and Review Committee, UT Level Child Welfare and Protection Committee and District Level Child Welfare and Protection Committees.
The UT Level Monitoring and Review Committee is headed by the Chief Secretary while Administrative Secretary, Social Welfare Department is the Chairperson of UT Level Child Welfare and Protection Committee.
District Level child Welfare and Protection Committees are headed by the concerned District Magistrate and shall closely supervise the overall implementation of Mission Vatsalya at the district level.
Besides monitoring, the UT Level committee shall prepare the annual action plan, including financial proposal and submit the same to Government for approval.
