JAMMU, Feb 7: The State Government today constituted seven member State level Monitoring and Advisory Committee to monitor the implementation of Solid Waste Management rules , 2016 in pursuance with National Green Tribunal Order of last month with Justice Janak Raj Kotwal, former Judge J&K High Court as its chairman.
The other members of the Committee included Administrative Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department, Administrative Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department, Administrative Secretary, Forest Environment and Ecology Department, Administrative Secretary, Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Representatives of Central Pollution Control Board and Member Secretary, State Pollution Control Board.
