JAMMU, Feb 1: Government has constituted committee for implementation of programmes, schemes and activities given in Schedule I-A and I-B of the Jammu and Kashmir Panchayati Raj Act 1989.
Administrative Secretary, Department of Rural Development and Panchayatai Raj has been appointed as Chairperson of the committee.
The representative of Agriculture Production Department, representative of Horticulture Department, representative of Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Department, representative of PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Department, representative of Forest, Environment and Ecology Department, representative of Tourism Department, representative of Public Works (R&B) Department, representative of Power Development Department, representative of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Department, representative of ARI and Trainings Department, representative of Youth Services and Sports Department, representative of Health and Medical Education Department, representative of Social Welfare Department, representative of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, representative of School Education Department, representative of Revenue Department, representative of Industries and Commerce Department, representative of Planning Development and Monitoring Department, representative of Cooperative Department, representative of Culture Department, representative of Housing and Urban Development Department and representative of Information Department have been appointed as members of the committee.
