Govt constitutes expert panel to advise BOPEE on CET

JAMMU, May 17: On the direction of High Court, the State Government has accorded sanction for constitution of a committee of experts to advise the BOPEE for conducting Common Entrance Test.
The expert committee will advise the BOPEE as to how and in which manner the Common Entrance Test should be conducted besides making recommendations on any issue related to preparation of keys.
The committee will meet as and when required and at least one month before commencement of the examination conducted by BOPEE. It will also suggest BOPEE whether it would be permissible to have two correct answer keys for one single question and marks in questions can be given to all the candidates.
Headed by the BOPEE Chairman, the committee will have members, who include;  BOPEE Controller of Examination, JU as well as KU Controller of Examination,  Dean Academic Affairs JU/KU, Principal of GMC Jammu/Srinagar, Principal GCET Jammu, Secretary BOPEE and others.
