JAMMU, May 31: Government of Jammu and Kashmir today constituted a special cell of five members for handholding the families of COVID victims wherein Director General, Women and Child Development has been appointed as chairman of the cell while Mission Director ICPS J&K, Directors Social Welfare both Kashmir and Jammu and a representative from Finance Department (not below the rank of Additional Secretary) were appointed as members the cells.
In this regard, a Government order No. 73-JK (SWD) of 2021 has been today issued by the Secretary to Government, Social Welfare Department Sheetal Nanda to facilitate the extension of benefits under different Government schemes including financial assistance for self employment.
