Govt creating unrest amongst employees: PDP

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Jan 20: Government has failed to fulfill its commitment made with over four lakh employees creating unrest amongst them.
In a statement, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader and Coordinator for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency, Abdul Hamid Choudhary said this is strange that a Government which is quarrelling with its own tools is expecting to deliver ably.
He said employees are demanding their regularisation, arrears besides removal of pay anomalies but no one from the Government side is paying heeds towards their plights.
He added that there is need of having efficient and safe road network in State, health sector needs efficiency, derailed education system has to be brought back on rails, agriculture is in shambles, tourism is not picking up, jobs are nowhere, major industrial houses must be roped in to generate employment and simultaneously hydro-electric power is to be tapped to its full capacity.
Headway into these sectors in an efficient manner is practically not possible for a short-sighted incumbent Government and PDP can lay a strong foundation to achieve these targets.
