KATHUA, May 12: A student of Government Degree College, Kathua was found hanging in his room at College hostel under mysterious circumstances this morning.

The deceased was identified as Arun Kumar resident of Pathankot, final year Student of Government Degree College, Kathua. His colleagues found him this morning when they came to his room after he did not came out in the morning.
The students informed the college management and a police team was called. A police team and forensic team reached on spot and collected the evidence to know the cause of suspicious death. SSP Kathua, Shivdeep Singh also reached the spot and inspected the crime scene. He said that the police has registered a case and collected the evidence to know truth behind suspicious death of youth.
The family members of deceased reached on the spot and were shocked over the death of their kin. They accused the college management for his death saying he has no reason to commit suicide. They demanded enquiry into the matter.
