JAMMU, Sept 2: National president Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) Yuva and contesting candidate from Habbakadal Constituency, Sanjay Saraf today criticized State Government for sending migrant youth for interviews from Jammu to Srinagar and putting them to many hardships there.
Talking to reporters here, Saraf said thousands of migrant youth reached Summer Capital to appear in the interviews for the posts advertised under PM’s package and they were subjected to lot of humiliation due to lack of accommodation and other facilities.
He said instead of sending these youth to Srinagar the Government should have established their examination centers at Jammu so that the time and money of these would have been saved. About 10,000 students had gone to Srinagar for just 1400 posts and that too on their personnel expenses to appear in the written tests, which was an overburden on their parents who are dependent on cash doles from Government only.
Saraf said instead of enhancing relief the Government was adding to the problems of the migrants and increasing their expenses. Terming it a conspiracy of political parties , he said the NC and Congress coalition has also failed to solve the problems of the migrants.
He also took the Government to task for its failure in passage of Mandir Bill and granting minority status to community.
