JAMMU, June 30: All ReZs from Jammu division assembled and protested today against the delay in the publication of their regularization list at Press Club, here.
While addressing the media persons, Dr Surinder Radotra warned State Government and Department of Agriculture that if the regularization list is not published immediately, all ReZs will have to take extremely harsh steps for which Omar Abdullah’s Government will be responsible. As we ReZs are waiting patiently and have honoured the regularisation policy of State Government, but this is the height of discrimination and negligence towards all ReZs.
He said that as the regularization list of Kashmir division was published since 23.06.2014.  The Cabinet decision is to regularize 881 in first batch with effect from April 1, 2014, then why the list of only 440 is published. We have only heard of discrimination in the past but this is happening in the present too, the protesters alleged.
This is not new as ReZs were given the policy of 9 years instead of other recruiting policies of State Government. This leads to the main dispute as former CM G N Azad has said this policy is totally wrong and if the present CM Omar Abdullah is sincere to listen to the grievances of common citizens he should have scrapped this unjustified policy as he did against the other recruiting policy of J&K.
