Upping the ante on Peoples Democratic Party-Bharatiya Janata Party (PDP-BJP) coalition government over allegations that the Power Secretary was pressurised to buy power from a firm without tenders, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said no wonder the current regime is so desperate for the Rs one lakh crore package, they have got their eyes on the spoils.
Going by this it’s no wonder the State Govt is so desperate for the Rs 100,000 crore package, they’ve all got their eyes on the spoils, Mr Abdullah, who is the working president of National Conference (NC), wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.
The Power Secretary was booted out for refusing to toe the line. Honest governance in the Modi-Mufti accord era!!!! Mr Abdullah added.
Meanwhile, taking a jibe at the state government over identification of 27 new heritage sites in Jammu and Kashmir, Mr Abdullah said, ”it should include the 28th – the “historic PDP-BJP alliance” which they must preserve at all costs.” (UNI)
