Govt employees asked to make voluntary contribution to Red Cross Society

JAMMU, Jan 3: All the employees of State Government have been asked to make voluntary contribution to the Red Cross Society, J&K.
As per an order in this regard, issued today by the General Administration department, a minimum contribution of Rs 500 per annum is required to be made by the employees of Level-13 and above while for the employees of Level 10 to 12 and Level 6 to 9, minimum contribution of Rs 400 and Rs 300, respectively has been fixed. Minimum contribution for the employees of Level-1 to 5 is Rs 150 while for the employees upto Level-1, the minimum contribution is Rs 100.
The minimum contribution for Advisors, Secretaries of different departments and HoDs is Rs 1000 per annum. However, the officers and officials shall be free to contribute more, if any so chose.
The amount may be deducted at source by the concerned DDDO in the month of January, 2019. The contribution in respect of District level offices shall be forwarded to the Deputy Commissioner concerned for crediting to the account of the District Red Cross Society while the collection in the provincial offices of the Head of Department etc shall be remitted to the account of the Divisional red Cross Society through Divisional Commissioner concerned.
The collection in respect of the Secretariat and other Move offices shall be credited by the DDO to the official account number of J&K Civil Secretariat Moving Branch.
