JAMMU, Dec 3: State coordination committee in-charge of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Harsh Dev Singh today said that Government exchequer in Jammu and Kashmir is being used for the welfare of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) leaders who are also illegally occupying Government bungalows with the help of bureaucratic setup.
Addressing a press conference in Jammu, Harsh Dev Singh said that J&K Government has recently remove a number of opposition leaders from Government bungalows but BJP leaders are still illegally occupying these Government building and enjoying all the facilities there.
“Government bungalows are built and managed by using Government money received from tax payers and BJP leaders are illegally occupying these bungalows and thus Government exchequer is being used for the welfare of BJP leaders,” said Singh.
He added, “This practice is going on with the help of J&K Government in clear violation of Government norms but no one within the Government quarters is looking into the matter and bureaucratic setup is also hell bent to support BJP leaders in this illegal practice.”
Harsh Dev said that Government money should have been utilized for the welfare of common masses of J&K but Government here is using the money for the welfare of BJP leaders and common masses including employees and common masses are on roads for their genuine demands. He demanded that Government buildings in illegal occupation of BJP leaders should be immediately clear and all the illegal occupants should be removed.
“Security front has also been comprised wherein a BJP worker is being given security cover through multiple PSOs and a leader of opposition is deprived of PSOs which otherwise was never seen in J&K,” Singh said. He further said that J&K is passing through a worst ever dictatorial policy of bureaucratic setup and is a international level example of corruption and illegal practices.
