KATHUA, Apr 11: Former Minister of State and PCC leader Dr Manohar Lal Sharma has alleged that BJP-PDP dispensation in the State has totally failed in governance and deliverance.
Addressing public meeting at Nagrota Gujru in Billawar Sub Division of Kathua today, Dr Sharma, the former MLA from Billawar, alleged that the Coalition Govt has miserably failed on all the fronts. He said that on the ground level there is no governance and deliverance of the public service. The people are suffering badly and their genuine aspirations are not being addressed by the Government and their own elected representatives.
A large number of people from different sections of society including former Panchs and Sarpanchs and party workers from Billawar area participated. Public expressed great resentment against wrong and anti -people polices of BJP- PDP Government. They alleged that in Govt offices and political level corruption has increased. The public is suffering due to non- availability of medicines and doctors in Govt hospitals and dispensaries. Power and water shortage has also life of the people miserable moreover, ration and especially sugar is not available in the Govt depots.
He further alleged that BJP has completely failed to fulfill even a single promise made with the people during Assembly and Lok Sabha elections. All promises made to the people of the State of good governance and better deliverance proved fake as nothing has been seen on ground after a span of more than 2 years in power in state. The working style of BJP in present dispensation is totally against the interests of Jammu province but the people of Jammu who have high expectations from BJP proved fake.
Sharma launching scathing attack on BJP Govt said that during his tenure, as minister, he got sanctioned various development projects for the Billawar constituency for the welfare general public but to his utter surprise, those works are incomplete or not executed till date. He asked the concerned authorities to step up the execution of these projects without further delay.
