Govt fails to address issues of public importance: Sharma

JAMMU, Apr 18: A meeting of District Jammu Urban was held at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan under the chairmanship of Chander Mohan Sharma District President Jammu Urban.
While addressing the meeting, Chander Mohan Sharma said that the day temperature is rising in Jammu and people are facing unscheduled power cuts and shortage of drinking water.
“The Government has miserably failed to address the issues of the public importance. However there are tall claims by the administration about their performance. But on the ground, the reality is quite different”, said Sharma, adding that heaps of garbage is lying in every nook and corner in Jammu city and condition of the public utility washrooms is also in worst shape.
Those who attended the meeting were Rashida Begum, Ayub Malik, Mohd Shabir Sambyal, Waris Gill, Bhadur Lal, Kuldeep Singh, etc.
