JAMMU, June 25: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress today lashed out at the UT administration and Centre Government for coercing agitating Jammu based employees posted in Kashmir to join back their duties in Kashmir or face consequences.
In a press statement, JKPCC chief spokesperson, Ravinder Sharma has strongly criticised the UT administration for coercing the Jammu based employees to join back their duties in Kashmir valley without resolving their issues of safety and security.
“Terming such threats and coercion as very unfortunate and against the human rights of employees and their families and the JKPCC criticized such harsh actions against employees, he said, adding that the Government should resolve their issues and concerns before forcing them to resume their duties in the valley.
The Party expressed solidarity with the agitating employees and demanded a fair transfer policy for them back to their native divisions and districts besides posting in safe zones.
