Govt Formation: Omar makes a prank on PDP

JAMMU : National Conference working president Omar Abdullah today, taking a dig on the PDP for government formation, said the party is desperate to save its face and even a phone call will do the job.
“Someone please phone her,” Mr Abdullah said on micro-blogging site Twitter.
He tweeted, “They so desperately want a face saver that now even a phone call will do. Lagao number :)”
Meanwhile NC provincial president of Jammu, Devendra Rana said the party is ready and prepared for fresh elections.
“PDP-BJP have created Constitutional crisis,” Mr Rana this morning told the reporters at his residence.
He said, “If fresh elections happen, we are ready.” However, all eyes are on PDP, BJP separate meetings with the Governor N N Vohra at the Raj Bhawan.
Mr Vohra in his letters addressed both the parties and asked them to clear their stand on government formation. PDP president Mehbooba Mufti also chaired Legislature Party meeting in Srinagar while BJP leadership held core group meeting following which three senior leaders rushed to New Delhi to meet high command and hold discussions on government formation.
Meanwhile PDP and BJP leaders will be meeting the Governor here this evening. (AGENCIES)
