JAMMU:
BJP national General Secretary and Spokesperson Ram Madhav led three-member delegation today called on Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra over government formation at Raj Bhawan here this afternoon. BJP members including MP Madhav, state president and Member Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma and MLA Billawar Constituency Nirmal Singh, met the Governor.
“The BJP delegation had a detailed meeting with the Governor over government formation and they also discussed their ‘alliance’ matter with PDP,” sources here told UNI. Mr Madhav later held a meeting with BJP leadership, including the newly-elected MLAs and thoroughly discussed the issues of government formation.
“We met the Governor today to inform him that BJP was in talks with PDP for government formation,” Mr Madhav told reporters after the meeting.
“on few issues, headway has been made and on certain issues talks were on,” he added and said that though no specific date has been finalised, but the government in Jammu and Kashmir will be formed soon.
