JAMMU, Mar 1: For grant of mineral concession through open auction, the State Government has accorded sanction for constitution of district level committees.
Headed by the concerned Deputy Commissioner or Additional District Development Commissioner as the Chairman, the committee shall comprise Superintendent Engineer (R&B), District Treasury Officer, Executive Engineer Irrigation and Flood Control and Officer of the Geology & Mining Department of the concerned district as members and officer Incharge of Geology and Mining as member secretary.
