JAMMU, May 20: The Government today constituted a committee for expediting the disposal of litigations pending in J&K High Court and other Tribunals/ Benches in the J&K UT.
Official sources said that the GAD today accorded sanction to the constitution of a three- member committee to evolve a mechanism, for expediting the disposal of pending cases before both the wings of the High Court and other Tribunals/ Benches in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
The members of the Committee include- Advocate General J&K; Secretary to Govt, General Administration Department and Secretary, Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs. The committee shall submit its report within 15 days from its constitution.
