Govt ignoring Rajouri, Poonch: JKPPM

RAJOURI, Sept 10: Pahari People Movement today accused the Center & Jammu and Kashmir having  Government failed to provide basic facilities to residents of the border districts of Rajouri and Poonch.
In a statement, chief executive of the Movement, Shahbaz Khan and chairman Shamim Ahmed alleged that pick and choose policy has been adopted while preparing list of victims and sufferers for the relief while deserving who have no political approach are ignored.
They appealed the Government that honest officers should be included in the committee for assessing the losses and identifying the victims while distributing any type of relief.
They lamented that there was no road connectivity, proper electricity and restoration of water supply in Ghambir Mughlan, Thannamandi, Manyal Gali, Azmatabad, Dhoke, Khanyalkote, Dara, Naili Pataile, Tota Morha, Majhoor Rajdhani and many other areas which suffered major losses to life and property.
Shahbaz Khan congratulated Indian Army for doing commendable job by saving thousands of people during flood and storm in the State.
