NEW DELHI, Dec 19:
Government today introduced the much awaited Goods and Services Tax Bill titled The Constitution (122nd Amendment) Bill, 2014 in the Lok Sabha seeking to replace a plethora of indirect taxes being levied by the Centre and states.
The tax will be levied on all transactions involving supply of goods except those which are kept out of this tax. The Bill was introduced by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. (UNI)
