SRINAGAR, June 5: Government today formally issued notification regarding enhancement of retirement age from 58 to 60 years.
According to the notification issued by B B Vyas, Principal Secretary, Finance Department, “in exercise of powers conferred by the proviso to Section 124 of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir, the Governor has given nod for the amendment in the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services Regulations Vol-I”.
“As per the amendment, a Government servant in service on June 1, 2014 or appointed on or after that date shall retire on his attaining the age of 60 years”, the notification said.
